One paper led by Wei Hong entitled “Impact of early heat anomalies on urban tree cooling efficiency: Evidence from spring heatwave events in India” has been published in JAG. This is the second research study we are looking into the connection between urban greenspace and the thermal environment.

[Grant] Dr. Bin Chen got one collaborative project funded by The Research Council of Norway: Researcher Project for Young Talents—Modelling the epidemiological dynamics of past and current zoonotic diseases in humans.
[Award] Dr. Bin Chen received the LAWR 2020 Distinguished Postdoctoral Award from University of California Davis. A huge recognition of the 3-year Postdoc chapter at UC Davis.
