​Dr. Shengbiao Wu is a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Landscape Architecture at the University of Hong Kong. He received the B.S. degree in base class of geography at Wuhan University in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in Cartography and Geography Information System at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in June 2019. His research interests include the physics of remote sensing, radiative transfer modelling, vegetation phenology monitoring, urban surface energy budget, and machine learning in urban ecology studies.​

​Dr. Yimeng Song is currently a Postdoc Researcher at School of the Environment, Yale University. He received his BEng from China University of Geosciences (Beijing) in 2012, BEcon from Peking University in 2012, MSc from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014, and PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2019. His research mainly focuses on the application of spatial big data analytics in the field of the urban environment, human mobility, exposure assessment, and environmental health.

Dr. Gang Xu is a Visiting Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Hong Kong. He is an Associate Research Fellow with the Department of Geography and the Center of Geo-computation for Social Sciences at Wuhan University, China. He received his BEng (2014) and Ph.D. (2019) degrees from Wuhan University. His work concentrates on urban studies, specifically, urbanization and complex urban systems. He attempts to understand how urban land expands and its correlation with the population using remotely sensed imagery and geo-technologies. He also focuses on the urban scaling law to explain how the complex urban system evolves over time..

​Dr. Xidong Chen is currently a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Landscape Architecture at the University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. degree in Cartography and Geography Information System at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021. He got his B.E. degree in Remote Sensing Science and Technology from Henan Polytechnic University in 2016. His research interests include national and global fine-resolution (10 m/30 m) land cover mapping, land cover change detection, and water environment monitoring.

​Dr. Xiaoxin Zhang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Landscape Architecture at the University of Hong Kong. She received her doctorate of Geography from the University of Copenhagen in 2023. She obtained her M.Sc. degree in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019. Dr. Zhang also earned her B.E. degree in Geographic Information Science from Nanjing Normal University in 2016. Her research interests include monitoring urban vegetation change and restoration, human-environment interaction, and the application of advanced Earth Observation technology.

Ziming Li received the B.S degree in Geographical Information Science from Sun Yat-sen University in 2019 and MSc degree in Cartography and Geographical Information System from Sun Yat-sen University in 2022. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. degree at the Division of Landscape Architecture, The University of Hong Kong. His research interests focus on applying multi-source earth observation data and artificial intelligence techniques to investigate urban and environmental issues.

Han Wang received his B.Eng. degree in Remote Sensing from Wuhan University in 2020 and M.Sc. degree in Geographical Information System from Peking University in 2023. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. degree at the Division of Landscape Architecture, The University of Hong Kong. His research interests mainly focus on the application of geospatial big data and advanced models in the field of renewable energy and environmental sustainability.

Ying Tu received the B.S. degree in Geographical Information Science from Sun Yat-sen University in 2019. She is currently working towards her Ph.D. degree in Ecology at the Department of Earth System Science, Tsinghua University and is a visiting Research Assistant at HKU. Her research mainly focuses on using earth observation data to monitor land use/land cover change and environmental sustainability. She has published more than 10 journal articles in the field of remote sensing and environmental science.​

Qianqian Qin completed her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Hong Kong in 2023. Currently, she is working as a research assistant at the FUSE lab. Her research interests lie in the impacts of natural hazards on people and nature under climate change, and the application of quantitative modeling to explore new approaches to landscape design and planning.

Dr. Xiaoling Wang is a Research Assistant II in the Division of Landscape Architecture at the University of Hong Kong. She received the B.S. (2018) degree in Landscape Architecture from Anhui Agricultural University, and the Ph.D. (2024) degree in Ecology from East China Normal University. She is dedicated to understanding how to enhance the multiple ecosystem services provided by urban forests, such as carbon sequestration, air pollution purification, cooling effects, and biodiversity conservation etc. Her research interests also include using state-of-the-art technologies (i.e., laser scanning or mobile monitoring system etc.) to address various urban environmental problems. She has published over 6 journal articles in the field of urban ecology.

Mr Yiming YUAN completed his Master’s Degree in Sustainable Environmental Design in 2024 at the Faculty of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong. Currently Mr YUAN is a research assistant at FUSE Lab. His research interests include economics empowered by remote sensing, exploring association between urban environment and population health, applications of urban street view images, urban spatial big data modelling, complex networks and more.
